Why Our Program Builds Better Employees

We Help Rebuild Confidence from the Inside Out
Your employee’s value doesn’t come from titles or output. Our program reinforces self-worth, which leads to greater confidence, resilience, and engagement.

We Resolve the Root of Addiction
Many clients want to work and contribute, but they’re just caught in a cycle that conflicts with their values. We help them reconnect with those values and align their choices accordingly.

Stability Creates Reliability
By treating both addiction and mental health, we support consistent attendance, stronger coping skills, and fewer work disruptions.

Purpose Drives Performance
When clients rediscover meaning — in family, work, or recovery — they show up with more energy and motivation. We help them find that purpose.

We Teach the Soft Skills Employers Need
Our curriculum includes emotional intelligence, communication, and accountability. Skills that reduce conflict and strengthen teams.

We Cultivate Leaders
From responsibility to initiative, we coach the kind of personal growth that translates into leadership at home and on the job.

Recovery Pays Off
Employees in recovery often become your most loyal, driven team members. With support, they reinvest in their roles and your culture.

Referring Isn’t Letting Go, It’s Building Up
When you connect someone to care, you’re not losing them. You’re helping them return stronger — ready to contribute, grow, and lead.

Intensive outpatient treatment for those with more severe addictions & mental health disorders, our PHP provides intensive addiction recovery treatment.

Our PHP offers a higher level of care than our IOP, with 30-35 hrs of programming per week. However, unlike residential rehabs, clients can still return home at night & between sessions.

Our IOP offers an affordable and flexible path to recovery for those with mild-moderate addictions and mental health disorders.

With a time commitment of just 12-15 hours weekly, this program is highly effective, yet less intensive than a PHP.

Our IOP emphasizes group therapy and aftercare planning, although you will still get a chance to work 1:1 with therapists & counselors.

We specialize in integrated dual diagnosis treatment, which provides effective treatment for those with both a substance use disorder & mental health disorders.

Through a personalized combination of pharmacological & behavioral care, our clients can unpack the intertwined nature of addiction & mental health issues.

This creates a solid foundation for sustained sobriety & good mental health, as research shows that integrated treatment of both conditions is most effective.

Cost is one of the most common barriers that prevents employees from getting the help they need. That’s why Ohio Community Health partners with a wide range of insurance providers — including Medicaid — to reduce out-of-pocket costs and make treatment more accessible for your workforce.

If you have questions about coverage, pricing, or how we work with EAPs and insurance plans, our team is here to provide clear answers and support.

Customizable & Evidence-Based

Outpatient Addiction Treatment

We provide evidence-based and effective drug and alcohol addiction treatments that are personalized specifically for our clients.

Our treatment programs include:

  • Individual counseling: Probe the specifics of your addiction by working closely with an accredited therapist.
  • Psychotherapy: Various forms of talk therapy to help find and address any root issues that may be contributing to the addiction. During sessions of CBT & DBT therapy, a therapist will also help you to develop healthy coping mechanisms to use instead of drugs when confronted with stressors.
  • Group therapy: In group therapy sessions at our alcohol and drug rehab, benefit from the support of peers undergoing similar recovery journeys.
  • MAT: MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) can help treat all types of opioid use disorder, including heroin addiction and prescription painkiller addiction. MAT at Ohio Recovery Centers is delivered alongside psychotherapy and counseling.

Amanda Kuchenberg PRS CDCA

I recently joined Ohio Community Health Recovery Centers as a Clinical Case Manager. I am originally from Wisconsin but settled in the Cincinnati area in my early 20s.  My career started in the fashion industry but quickly changed as I searched to find my drive and passion through helping others who struggle with addiction.

As someone who is also in recovery, I wanted to provide hope, share lived experience, and support others on their journey.  I currently have my Peer Recovery Support Supervision Certification along with my CDCA and plan to continue my education with University of Cincinnati so I can continue to aid in the battle against substance addiction. Taylor Lilley CDCA, PRS

Growing up in Louisiana with addiction running rampant on both sides of my family. A life away from drugs and alcohol seemed impossible for someone like me. I remember what it was like sitting across from someone thinking there is no way they could ever understand what I was going through.

Sharing my experience offers a credibility and a certain type of trust with clients that only someone who has walked down this road can illustrate. To immerse myself further into the field of addiction, I am currently studying at Cincinnati State for Human and Social Services.  I hope I never forget where I came from, if I can do it, so can you!

Mary D.Porter,LICDC

My name is Mary D. Porter. I received my Masters of Social Work in 2008 from The University of Cincinnati. I received My Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor Licensure in 2001. I retired from The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center on April 14, 2014. Currently, I am the Associate Clinical Director for The Ohio Community Health Recovery Centers in Cincinnati.. Due to the fourth wave of the Opioid Epidemic in 2019,  I decided to enter back into the workforce to assist the addicted population.

The overdoses were astounding and I wanted to help.  I consider myself  to be an advocate for the addicted population. My compassion, resilience, empathy, wisdom, knowledge, experience and  love I have for this forgotten population goes beyond words. I consider what I do for the addicted population as a calling versus a “career,” because I too was once an “addict and alcoholic.” Today I am 45.5 years alcohol and substance free.

Ben Lemmon LCDC III

Hello, my name is Ben Lemmon, and I’m the Vice President and Clinical Director at Ohio Community Health Recovery Centers. I’ve been working in the addiction and mental health field since 2013 and decided to enter the field after overcoming my own challenges with addiction.

When I first meet a client, I always explain to them that the reason we are meeting is because they are not capable of obtaining or maintaining sobriety, and my goal is to create a person that can maintain sobriety. I believe a person’s personality is made up of their thoughts, feelings and actions and my job is to help clients identify the thoughts, feelings and actions that have them disconnected from recovery and provide them with the tools to live a healthy and happy life.
